The integrated database of project applications is not only efficient data-storing device, but also a powerful tool for information exchange among donor organizations and NGOs and, at the same time, means of coordination within the donor community. Project Database has easy access through web-interface and is designed for average Internet user without special technical knowledge. Based on the analysis of the first year of Project Marketplace for Donors functioning, further improvements are to be introduced into Projects Database in order to increase its functionality and to make it functional and user-friendly.

Funding Opportunities

Due to this service, donor organizations can bring information about upcoming grant competition directly to the target group, as well as make this information available for each other.

Resource Library

This on-line library contains research documents on third sector and donor organizations, collected by Project Marketplace for Donors support team, e.g. analysis, reports, evaluation papers, manuals etc., prepared or funded by donors.

Donor Groups

This service is created especially for donor groups - on one hand, it serves coordination of their activities, and on the other hand, it spreads information about group activities to the wide public. Every group will have individual page containing following data: statement of goals, member organizations and their representatives/activists for the group, documents on group activities (reports, programs etc).

News

Separate news posting on Project Marketplace for Donors serves for dissemination of information on key-events within donor community and for distribution of general information on upcoming programs and funding opportunities.

Forum

Forum is an information tool for issue-oriented network communication. This service allows users to share information, discuss various problems, state personal opinion, ask questions and receive answers within the discussion on a certain issue.

Mailing lists

Project Marketplace for Donors team currently supports eight issue-oriented mailing lists that serve thematic donor groups.
